Carbon Neutral
We minimise energy usage – for example by using Harmony metal, and papers from sustainable forests. We do still have to travel, and the materials have to travel by air.
We are supporting a carbon offset scheme so as to be a totally carbon neutral company. These schemes often support forests abroad but we wanted to support a scheme that encouraged the growth of woodland here in Britain, as our country has the least amount of forest of any major European nation!
We chose the excellent Woodland Trust, a non-profit organisation; each year we measure our energy used and pay into their carbon offset scheme so that we are carbon neutral.
